Sean McCarthy MD
Dr. Sean McCarthy is a Board-certified dermatologist with over ten years’ experience in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2006. After completing his internship, he joined the United States Air Force and spent three years as a flight surgeon. During that time, he was deployed to Afghanistan.
Dr. McCarthy completed his dermatology residency in 2013 at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio. Since then, Dr. McCarthy has been stationed in California, Japan, and most recently, was the Chief of Dermatology at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. He continues to serve his country in the North Carolina Air National Guard.
