Melanie Adams, PA-C, MPAS, is a certified Physician Associate with 30 years of clinical experience. Since 2007, she has specialized in dermatology, developing extensive expertise in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Melanie is dedicated to delivering comprehensive patient care and excels in building strong patient trust and rapport.

She began her career after graduating from the University of Kentucky's Physician Assistant program in 1995, initially working in psychiatry and family medicine. In 2002, Melanie relocated to North Carolina, where she later earned her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska. Her professional journey included four years as an epilepsy specialist in the Department of Neurology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill before transitioning to dermatology.

Melanie is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Medical Science degree at High Point University.

Outside of her professional commitments, Melanie enjoys traveling, hiking, golfing, skiing, and spending time with her dogs.
